St. Hubert Catholic Church located in Harrison Township, Michigan.
HEATING, VENTILATING & AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM:
The heating ventilating and air conditioning system for the facility is handled with three McQuay Air Handling units and two Lennox furnaces with a combined air flow of 28,000 CFM and 83 tons combined cooling refrigeration. The Air Handlers are provided with a combined pre-heat capability of 1,300,000 BTUH (British Thermal Unit) of hydronic pre-heat coils. The space temperature of the facility is being handled by programmable space thermostats located in the space served by each unit.. The hydronic heating for the facility is generated by three, Lochinvar boilers of 1,160,000 BTUH of combined heating output.
The unique Architectural design incorporates green houses with tropical plants on three sides of the Sanctuary to simulate a forest-like atmosphere when seated in the worship space.
POWER:
The facility is handled by a 1,200 AMP, 120/208 volt three phase, 4 wire switch board. The power and lighting for the facility is being handled by one lighting and two, power panels located in the Electrical Room.
LIGHTING:
The lighting system for the worship space is primarily pendant mounted incandescent cylinders, and is complimented with custom chandeliers and wall sconces. The greenhouse spaces are lit with wall mounted incandescent cylinders.
SPECIALTY SYSTEMS:
The facility is equipped with and A/V system to broadcast church services to areas outside the worship space. This system also includes video projectors and projection screens in the worship space for special presentations.
